What to read?
I finally finished my reading from the Iowa Teen Award list and I'm looking for something new. Since this is a story based blog I thought I'd ask for some assistance in choosing what to read next. These are three options I received from my classmates. I'm really enjoying Young Adult Literature but I'm willing to read just about anything from any genre. Have any other good ideas? Share them in the comments section!

Lisa,
ReplyDeletePeak was quite an adventure story. But why anyone would want to climb a mountain in those conditions is beyond me. However, it is a story of perseverance and father/son bonding. This was popular with my upper level 5/6 readers. all of Roland Smith's books are popular.
Carol Ann
Skeleton Creek is a great scary story! It is a story that you follow in two ways; in journal form (Ryan's story) and in video form through Sarah Fincher's website. Students love the suspence and anticipation of seeing a ghost! :) The second book is good as well...Ghost in the Machine.
